Lily MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon and behaviour consultant.
I graduated from Glasgow in 2021 and since then have enjoyed all aspects of first opinion small animal work. In 2023 I started to specialise in veterinary behaviour alongside general practice work, and have since begun completing further qualifications in this field. I moved to Beauly in December 2024 and have loved exploring the Highlands with my Border Collie, Fergus. We get out as often as possible to go munro bagging, kayaking, and camping. I do jiu-jitsu and weight lifting in my spare time, as well as trying to renovate my house. I definitely like to keep busy!

Dominique MRCVS, GPCert (Derm)
Veterinary surgeon, certified dermatologist, ,Acupuncture & Veterinary Herbal Medicine consultant
My dream and passion has always been working with animals and this motivation and inspiration had brought me across the world from South Africa, on a mission to become a vet ,where I had spent a lot of time working with vets in practice and in the field working on small and large animals as well as wildlife. I had spent many days running through an open field on a rhino darting and treating mission with my local vet in South Africa and the adrenalin and motivation of making a difference had definitely brought on the passion that now runs through my veins.
I love my work and enjoy building positive relationships with our clients and their pets, offering all I can to provide a valuable and professional service. I am a qualified dermatologist and also offer alternative therapies in acupuncture and herbal medicine which only give me more options to help make a difference.

Niamh MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon, Acupuncture & Veterinary Herbal Medicine consultant in our Elgin branch
Hello, I’m Niamh, a vet with a passion for pain management, animal ethics and welfare and geriatric patient care. Outside of work you’ll find me spending as much time in nature:be it wild swimming, wading in lochs, foraging in the woods or off on hikes in the nearby forests and hills.
My first experience of acupuncture was when I was applying to vet school I attended a vet clinic and got to see a dog having acupuncture. I loved how the vet focused on a whole patient approach and created a supportive and calm environment for the owner.
From then on, I knew I wanted to bring this to my future patients and throughout vet school I became very interested in complimentary therapies and pain management. Years later after graduating as a qualified vet and working in general practice, I underwent training in acupuncture with the Western Veterinary Acupuncture Group and most recently training in veterinary herbal medicine with Veterinary Herbal Training.
Now running a complimentary therapy clinic in Elgin where Dominique had originally set up her alternative therapy clinics (Acupet Vet), I have seen first hand the difference complimentary therapies can make to an animals lives and believe they have a firm place alongside traditional veterinary medicine. That’s why I place high value on collaborating with your primary vet to keep them informed and work with them to create a personalised plan for your beloved companion.
I pride myself on truly listening to my clients and tailoring my approach to my patients individual needs as well as considering the needs of yourself, the caregiver. I appreciate animal health concerns can be stressful, so I always endeavour to make your time at my clinic a calm and peaceful one. -

I recently qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) in May 2025 and have been working at Highland Health Vets since I started my studies back in September 2024.
I’ve always had a strong interest in animals, especially exotics such as rabbits and rodents.
I am excited to continue developing my skills as a VCA and hope to progress onto veterinary nursing in the near future.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my own rabbits, Taggie and Suki, teaching them funny tricks and learning about rabbit behaviour.
I also enjoy relaxing by watching movies and travelling whenever I can. I love incorporating animal experiences into my travels such as going on safari in South Africa to staying on a horse ranch in Texas and learning about the wildlife local to each place I visit.
